Phoenix, Arizona (July 4, 2008)—On this July 4th 2008, celebrating the Birth of our Nation, The Phoenix Lights 3, Dr. Rebecca Hardcastle, Dr. Lynne Kitei and Terri Mansfield announce the formation of a citizenry initiative to establish a National Department of Extraterrestrial Alliances.

This marks the first steps toward forming a national government structure responsive to and responsible for open public dissemination of extraterrestrial/UFO information and experiences documented by scientists, researchers, ufologists and private citizens over the past 60 years. The six-decade accumulation of extraterrestrial/ UFO historical information translates into the need for a workable national government structure, assuring the entrance of our nation into effective, peaceful and technologically advanced Galactic citizenship.   

11 years ago on March 13, 1997 the citizens of Arizona were profoundly affected by a UFO sighting. The Phoenix Lights event was the largest sustained sighting of a UFO in our country in the 20th Century—witnessed by more people, over a longer period of time and over a larger geographical area than any other UFO sighting in modern times. Throughout six-decades of contact, citizens in every state have experienced UFO sightings.

With ever increasing documentation of these anomalies, the silence and secrecy is ending. History will record 2008 as the Year of Disclosure—a peaceful culmination of decades of behind the scenes ufology research and citizen involvement. This initiative heralds the birth of a new era of United States Government, defined by a mature open extraterrestrial/UFO dialogue of respect and peace.

The initiative is strengthened and nurtured by non-profit, state and municipal exopolitical organizations and ballot initiatives, MUFON organizations, and State Department of Peace advocates.

This citizenry-seeded, “We the people” initiative focuses on creating a Department that guides and augments the education of the electorate, increasing awareness of our extraterrestrial reality.  It empowers individual, national, global and galactic peace, promoting communication, cooperation, and interaction with multi-dimensional and galactic intelligences aligned with the advancement of universal peace and human evolution.
